Learn to refinish with confidence!
I have spent years learning the techniques that help transform dated furniture into beautiful, lasting pieces. Now, I am sharing what I've learned in my Furniture Refinishing Workbook.
Whether you are just getting started or looking to improve your skills, this workbook will help you better understand the refinishing process and approach your next project with more confidence.

My name is Jessica Maier, and I founded Restoration Furnishings. What began as a passion for reviving dated and damaged furniture has grown into a business dedicated to craftsmanship, education, and helping people see the potential in the pieces they already own.
I specialize in refinishing and redesigning quality-built furniture, transforming well-loved pieces with professional preparation, refined finishes, and attention to detail. I also offer professional kitchen cabinet refinishing, bringing the same care, precision, and commitment to lasting results into the heart of the home.
As my business has evolved, so has my passion for sharing what I have learned. Through my in-person furniture refinishing workshops, I help others develop practical skills, build confidence, and discover the satisfaction of transforming furniture themselves. I have also created a digital Furniture Refinishing Workbook to share my knowledge beyond the workshop. It's a resource for those who want to learn at their own pace, better understand the refinishing process, and approach their own projects with greater confidence.
Whether I'm refinishing a client's treasured piece, teaching hands-on techniques, or helping someone learn through my workbook, my goal remains the same: to encourage thoughtful restoration, lasting results, and a greater appreciation for the furniture we already have.
Restore with intention. Preserve with purpose.
Restoration Furnishings now offers professional kitchen cabinet refinishing! A service designed for homeowners who love their layout but want a refined, updated aesthetic without the cost and disruption of a full renovation.
Cabinet refinishing requires detailed preparation, precision application, and high-performance coatings built to withstand everyday use. Each project follows a thorough process, including professional degreasing, sanding, bonding primers, and carefully applied finishes to achieve a smooth, durable result.
This is not a quick paint job. It is a methodical refinishing process designed for longevity.
The same craftsmanship, care, and attention to detail that define our furniture restoration now extend into the heart of your home.
Renovate less. Restore more.
